For GUESTS
By the time they marry, many couples nowadays already have the basics for their homes and are, in fact, blending two established households. Of course, this makes buying a suitable wedding gift for the happy couple all the more challenging for you, as their guest.
One option is making a charitable donation in honor of the bride and groom -- a meaningful and personal gift to celebrate their new life together.
Charitable Gifts to Bell Socialization Services / Bell Family Shelter
Our Wedding Bell Registry offers a simple alternative to traditional gift-giving that will certainly be appreciated. Instead of opening another toaster or pair of candlesticks they don't need, the couple will know that important and valuable work is being done right here in their community in their name as a result of your thoughtful gift.
How to Donate
If the couple is registered
As couples register, we create a personal page to share their charitable giving wishes with guests. (See: Registered Couples) Just click on their names and you'll be linked directly to their page.
Donations may be made in any amount and are acceptable by check or major credit card. A Designated Donation Form is available to download and mail with your payment to gather relevant information so the donation is assigned properly.
Each donation is confirmed with a note to insert in a wedding card for the couple, acknowledging your gift. Since Bell is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, a charitable donation receipt will also be included for your tax records.
A tally of all donations made to Bell in celebration of the nuptials will be provided to the newlyweds after the wedding.
If the couple is not registered
Regardless of whether or not the couple is registered with Wedding Bell Registry, a donation to Bell is still a thoughtful gift that will surely be appreciated.
